JENNY WIGHAM
Practicing since 2007 and teaching since 2016, Jenny is passionate about sharing mindful practices. Applying the knowledge and skills learned from participating in many trainings and seminars on Yoga, Meditation, Philosophy, Biomechanics, Pranayama, Hands-on Adjustments, Alignment, Adaptive Yoga, Anti-Racism in Wellness, Embodied Social Justice, Embodied Love & Relationships, Use of Props, Yin/Restorative Practices, Yoga Therapy, Bhakti Yoga, Sequencing, Accessibility, and more, she utilizes her unique point of view, experience and education to help others discover the mindful tools to build their personal practice rooted in authenticity and truth.
Jennys goal as an instructor is to help make the principles and practice of yoga accessible to every body type and demographic. To help people build a respectful relationship to their body, to become aware of the noise the mind/ego can create, to hold a comfortable space for students to allow themselves to explore their internal environment, and to bring a little irreverence and real life practicality to this beautiful, ancient, and magical practice.
When she isn’t teaching, you’ll find Jenny anywhere outside, snowboarding, climbing, camping, hiking, biking, running, skating, dancing and exploring. She loves to travel and build blanket forts with her 3 nieces and nephew. She hopes you will join her on your mat to explore our inner worlds together!
